Cisco VoIP System for Departments
This spring IT is introducing a new phone system to the Biola campus based on Cisco’s Voice over IP (VoIP) technology. The new phone system includes Cisco VoIP handsets and voicemail. These phones have already been purchased by the university for you and your team. The new phone system also brings many new features, including the option to use the Cisco Jabber app for calling from your computer.
The Purchasing and IT departments are in the process of installing a new print management system called Pharos. Pharos provides Biola with the latest technology for printing, copying, scanning, and faxing, allowing us to fully use our campus resources, as well as upgrade devices to add more features than before. These features will be available to faculty, staff, and students through a unified system deployed campus-wide.
