Purpose
The Mackie 150 compact active PA speaker (with the accompanying equipment we provide) is ideal for smaller classroom settings, indoor events, and intimate outdoor events that require amplified speaking/singing. It is also possible to plug an acoustic guitar, keyboard, computer, or computer/ipod iPod directly into the system for musical accompaniment.

How to Set It Up
Step | What to Do | How It Looks |

1 | Plug in the provided power cord from the powered speaker to an outlet.

2 | Run an XLR cable from the provided microphone to an available input on the powered speaker. | |
3 | If desired, plug the provided auxiliary cable into the other available input on the main unit, then connect it to your laptop, iPod, phone, etc. |
Audio Controls
- Each input channel has independent Volume controls.
- Channel 1 also has an instrument input button that makes it act like a DI box, where you can plug an instrument directly into the system.
- There are also master Volume and EQ controls, and optional 48V of Phantom Power
