Introduction

These instructions will help you back up your computer's data to Biola's CrashPlan service.


Back-up Your Computer Using CrashPlan

Windows: Click on  Image Modified  in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Mac: Click on the  Image Modified  in the top right corner of the screen.

 
2Type CrashPlan. 
4Select CrashPlan (Mac) or CrashPlan PROe (Windows) from the search results.

Have you logged in to CrashPlan before?

  • If yes,
login using your Biola NetID and password
  • click on Existing Account.

  • If no, click on
Sign up for an accountUser your Biola NetID and password to complete the Username and Password fields.

7Click the Details button next to your computer.

Click on Run backup now to initiate a backup. Backups will happen automatically every 15 minutes after that.

After your computer has finished backing up for the first time, you can quickly check if your computer is backing up on CrashPlan.

6Enter your NetID and password, then click Sign In.

9When the computer is done backing up, "Last Backup" should read "< 1 minute ago".
