7. What is a Cost Center? | |||
A cost center is an account in Biola's print management system (Pharos) that is connected to a specific department account/org/fund. When a print job is sent to a Pharos-managed printer on a computer with the Pharos software installed, the user can indicate which department cost center should be billed for the printout. It also allows departments to manage the access groups that authorize which users can indicate which cost center should be billed for specific print jobs. | |||
