Back-up Your Computer Using CrashPlan

1	Windows: Click on in the bottom left corner of the screen. Mac: Click on the in the top right corner of the screen.
2	Type CrashPlan.
4	Select CrashPlan (Mac) or Select Code42 CrashPlan (Windows) from from the search results. Image Removed If you're using an older version of CrashPlan on a Mac, search CrashPlan instead.	Image Added
5	Have you logged in to CrashPlan before? If yes, log in using your NetID and password. If no, click on Sign up for an account. Enter your NetID and password into the Username and Password fields.
6	Click	Image Removed	7	Click on Run backup now to initiate a backup.
87	Depending on size of files and the speed of your connection, your CrashPlan back up may take a while to complete a "Synchronizing" process. Note: If your computer says, "Synchronizing," please leave your computer on overnight and connected to the internet (using a wired ethernet connection, if possible) if you are off-campus. If it does not complete and confirm a recent back up date after 3 days, please contact the IT Helpdesk for assistance.
9	After your computer has finished backing up for the first time, you can quickly check if your computer is backing up on CrashPlan.
