 Recording a Contact Center (CCX) Prompt from Your Desk Phone

*Note: You will need to know the prompt name (ID) for the prompt you would like to record before beginning this process. Refer to your CCX prompt spreadsheet for this.

  1. From your Cisco phone call the extension for your department prompt management utility.  If you do not know this extension, please contact the IT Helpdesk (x4740) or it.helpdesk@biola.edu to have a ticket opened.

  2. Enter your PIN when prompted.  If you do not know your PIN, please contact the IT Helpdesk (x4740) or it.helpdesk@biola.edu to have a ticket opened.

  3. Press 1 to record a prompt.

  4. Record your prompt and press #.

  5. Press 1 to review the prompt.

  6. Press 2 to save the prompt.

  7. Refer to your CCX prompt spreadsheet to know the 4 digit number for your prompt name, enter Enter the prompt name (ID), and press 1 to save the prompt.
