    1. Wait   4.0   seconds before ringing this (remote) phone when my business line is dialed. (Minimum = 0.0, Maximum = 30.0)  (This parameter sets delay ringing the remote phone in seconds. In this example, the remote phone will ring after 4 seconds from the time the desk phone started to ring.

Prevent this call from going straight to this (remote) phone's voicemail by using a time delay of   1.5   seconds to detect when calls go straight to voicemail. (This parameter stops the remote phone from ringing 1.5 seconds, in this example, before the timeout expires to prevent the call from going to the remote phone’s voicemail and keep the extension phone ringing and eventually go to the extension’s voicemail if the call is not picked up).

    3. Stop ringing this (remote) phone after   19.0   seconds to avoid connecting to this (remote) phone's voicemail. (Minimum = 10.0, Maximum = 300.0) (This parameters will ring the remote phone for the amount of time it is set to, and when that time expired then it will stop ringing the remote phone so the call going to the remote phone’s voicemail will be avoided.
