Introduction
This page explains the steps for creating an offline test or quiz in Canvas.
This method should be used by professors who administer tests in class and then upload scores either manually or by uploading a Scantron CSV file.
Canvas uses the word "Assignment" to describe any graded item, including assignments, quizzes, and exams. This can be confusing.
When Canvas uses the word "Quiz," it means a test that students take online, within Canvas, using a web browser.
