Introduction

Biola uses CrashPlan to back up computer data.

This page explains how to check to see if CrashPlan is backing up your data.

If you suspect that CrashPlan is not backing up, contact the IT Helpdesk using one of the methods listed in the sidebar.


Check for CrashPlan in Windows

StepWhat to Do

Click on the arrow in the System Tray. By default this will be in the bottom right-hand corner of your screen, near the clock.

2Click on the CrashPlan icon to show the backup status.

If your computer is not backing up, it will ask you to sign-in to CrashPlan to initiate the backup.

Click on the CrashPlan icon on your computer's menu bar to show the backup status.

Note: This will be toward the top right-hand corner of your screen, near the clock.

If your computer is not backing up, it will ask you to sign-in to CrashPlan to initiate the backup.
