Kipling 2010
Kipling is part of the second generation of Johnson House groups and is named after Rudyard Kipling, author of "The Jungle Book," among other things. Kipling is known for its vociferous and energetic members, who are mostly science, art, and math majors, and occasionally music majors.
Kipling is also known as the "Kippers," a name coined by Dr. Joe Henderson.
It is undetermined whether he nicknamed the group after his son, Kip, or after the fish referred to as "kippers."
