The Ruth Home was a protective home for girls of all ages in Los Angeles. It had a three-fold mission: 1) a hospital, 2) a correctional institution for unfortunate girls, and 3) a place "where Christ, the Great Physician, is presented...as the One to heal their sin-sick souls."<ref>The Biolan, 1939</ref>

Biola sent women students there to witness and mentor young ladies 12 years old and older. "Many souls" were won for Christ.<ref>The Biolan 1938, p 66</ref>
