In November 1919, J. Austin wrote, "Since my graduation in December, 1918, I have had the privilege of working with Geo. P. Stanley in Coachella Valley, Wm. P. Nicholson in Santa Maria, Cal., and at present I am with Rev. Francis J. Reagan holding meetings in Manteca and will later be with him in Turlock. I am using the P. T. L. in my work and the Lord is blessing this work very greatly.
