In 1988 Biola acquired the adjacent McNally Elementary School ground adding an additional 25 acres (100,000 m2) to the main campus.

The university was able to pay for it after the "McNally Miracle," a gift from donor Inez Kaartinen in 1986.

Wings within the campus are named after Dorothy English, Rood and White, among others.
