Robert Rogers
"Bob" graduated from Biola in 1918. After graduating, he went to San Pedro, CA to work with the Southern California Floating Christian Endeavor Association. He gives this update in 1921, "I am helping Mr. Makins in the work which has outgrown the possibilities of one man. This is one of the finest fishing grounds there is, literally thousands of men around our doors day and night, and I am ashamed that I do not accomplish more than I do. Had a pleasant experience the other night of a man coming up to me as I stood out side the door holding out tracts. He said he had been converted seven months before by one of our street meetings and was a present living a Christian life. Previously he had been for 16 years a Spiritualist, and prior to that a Swedenborgian and a New Thoughtist. Now he has a number of my books including "What the Bible Teaches" and is planning to take a correspondence course in the Institute and later enroll as a day student."The King's Business, Vol 12.4, pg 333
