Apologetics Study Bible

Biola professor J.P. Moreland contributed articles to The Apologetics Study Bible, a tool that features articles, notes and commentary from dozens of noted Christian apologists - many of whom teach or studied at Biola - all aimed at defending the faith.

As one of five editors on the project, Moreland generated article topics, authored several of them himself and solicited contributions of articles and biblical commentary from others. Nearly 20 Biola professors and alumni - one-fifth of the total number of contributors - ultimately played a role in the effort."Biola Professors Team Up to Defend Scripture." African Bible Commentary

Biola graduate Tokunboh Adeyemo (M.Div. ’75, M.Th. ’76), a Nigerian, undertook the first African commentary at the close of his 25-year term as general secretary of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa, an organization representing 70 million evangelicals. As general editor, Adeyemo brought together 70 African scholars (both men and women from more than 20 countries and many denominations) who interpreted and applied the Bible in light of African cultures and realities.

The 1,586-page volume features over 70 articles on pressing issues like refugees, AIDS, war and witchcraft.
