How to Grow in Grace is a pamphlet by Reuben Archer Torrey published in 1917 (LA: Bible Institute of Los Angeles), 20pp. It was reprinted in Traits and Tracts of Torrey.
Taking II Peter 3:18 ("But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord, and Saviour Jesus Christ") as his text, Torrey first explores the tragedy of those who never grow. Then he lists the conditions favorable to growth in grace: being in grace, openly confessing Christ before the world, eating right, and getting good air and exercise. These last three points are metaphorical, as Torrey makes clear in the application.
