Introduction

This page explains the steps for connecting to an AirMedia wireless presentation device in a conference room, or on a mobile AV cart.

A Crestron AirMedia device allows you to share audio and video from your computer to a screen without plugging in any cables.


How to Connect to an AirMedia on a Mac

1Turn on the TV.


2Take note of the IP address and Code listed on the AirMedia information screen.

Run the AirMedia application.

If a warning window appears, click OK.

4Enter the AirMedia's IP address into the search field, then click Connect.

Click on the AirPlay menu in the system bar, and select the AirMedia unit you're connecting to.

Tip: The name of the AirMedia unit is listed in the upper left corner of the Creston screen showing on the TV.

6When prompted, enter the code that you noted earlier.

7If you want to use the TV as a separate (non-mirrored) display, click on the AirPlay menu, and select Use As Separate Display.

8When you're done presenting, click on the AirPlay menu again, and select Turn AirPlay Off.
