Fred Waldock (class of '48, School of Missionary Medicine) was a missionary in India with his wife Dorothy Waldock (class of '46, Christian Education course, class of '47, School of Missionary Medicine).
The Waldocks wrote a letter to Louis Talbot on November 5, 1950 (published in the January 1951 issue of The King's Business, p. 22), from the Cachar District of Assam, India. Greeting him from "the center of heathenism in Assam," the Waldocks said they were sorry Talbot had not been able to visit their station during his trip to India, but allowed that there wouldn't have been much for him to see, since they had just begun their work. The Waldocks reported that the Bible had recently been translated into Manipuri, the tribe they were working with, and that they would use a fifty dollar gift to make Bibles available. The King's Business, Vol 42.1, January 1951, pg 22
