Earle (sometimes Earl) Hulin was the Chairman of the Music Department in 1954. Under his direction, the first faculty recital at the "School of Sacred Music" took place, and included as performers Arthur Atwell, Warren Driver, Joseph Barclay, Anna Gaitan, and Rayner Brown.The Biolan, 1954, p. 127

He was also the director of the "Coronation Choir", which traveled up and down the West Coast performing in churches and on the radio. The Biolan, 1957, pp. 37-38.
