To Purge Deleted Voicemails Using the Desk Phone

This procedure will lead you through the process of permanently deleting old voicemails from your voicemail box using your desk phone.

  1. From your own phone, press the Messages button. Enter your 6-digit voicemail PIN. 
  2. Choose option 3 to review old messages.
  3. Choose option 2 for deleted messages.
  4. Choose option 2 to erase deleted messages.
  5. Choose option 1 to delete the messages.
  6. Choose option 1 to delete only voice mail messages.

 

To Purge Deleted Voicemails Using the Jabber Client (Mac)

This procedure will lead you through the process of permanently deleting old voicemails from your voicemail box using the Jabber client.

  1. In Jabber, click the Voice Messages button to view your current voicemails.
  2. In the upper left of the Voice Messages section of the Jabber client window, click Trash.
  3. Right-click on one of the deleted messages and select Empty Voicemail Trash.


To Purge Deleted Voicemails Using the Jabber Client (Windows)

This procedure will lead you through the process of permanently deleting old voicemails from your voicemail box using the Jabber client.

  1. In Jabber, click the Voice Messages button to view your current voicemails.
  2. Change the Type (upper right of Jabber voice messages window) to Deleted to see only those messages that you have deleted previously.
  3. You can right-click on each voicemail individually or select all of them and right-click and choose Delete Permanently.
  4. Click Yes in the pop-up window.
