How to Install and Configure Cisco AnyConnect on Mac

1 | Go to vpn.biola.edu on your Mac. Sign in with your NetID and password. | |
2 | Agree to the terms of service. |
3 | Click on Download for macOS and follow the on-screen instructions to install the application. |

4 | Open the Cisco AnyConnect app from your Applications folder. | |
5 | Type in the server address: vpn.biola.edu and click connect. | |
6 | Type in your NetID and password and click OK. | |
7 | Click Accept to agree to the terms of service. | |
8 | AnyConnect may run updates. Once the updates complete you can begin using Cisco AnyConnect. | |
9 | Click on the Apple at the top-left of your computer and select System Preferences... |

10 | Click Security & Privacy. |

11 | Click the General tab. |
|
12 | Click the padlock at the bottom left of the Security & Privacy window and enter your computer username & password. |

13 | Click the Allow button. |

14 | Click Allow on the pop-up window. |

3 | Click Continue. | |
4 | Follow the instructions on the next screen to download and run the AnyConnect installer. The process will vary depending on which browser you're using. If the installer doesn't run automatically, double-click the installer package that your browser downloaded. | |
5 | Click Run. | |
6 | Click Next. | |
7 | Click the first radio button to accept the terms, then click Next. | |
8 | Click Install. | |
9 | Wait for the installer to finish, then click Finish. | |
