Dr Harms is a member of the studio faculty in the Conservatory of Music and teaches of organ and harpsichord. An internationally acclaimed concert organist, Dr. Janet Harms has performed across the United States and has presented over 100 recitals in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Dr. Harms was awarded a scholarship to the Juilliard School of Music at the age of 13, and continued her education at Northeastern Bible College, the American Conservatory (Chicago) and Columbia University where she received her doctorate as a student of Leonard Raver. She also studied under Jean Langlais, Catherine Crozier and Leslie Spellman.

Dr. Harms has taught at Nyack College (NY), Azusa Pacific University and the University of Redlands. She has served as organist at Fuller Theological Seminary, and is the founder and artistic director of the Windsong Southland Chorale. Currently, she is Organist-in-Residence at St. George's Episcopal Church in Laguna Hills, CA.
