This page describes how to import browser bookmarks from a .HTML file.

BrowserWhat to do
Safari
  1. Open the Safari browser.
  2. Click File > Import From > Bookmarks HTML File...
  3. Click on Desktop on the left side of the pop-up window.
  4. Locate the Safari Bookmarks.html file and click the Import button.
Firefox
  1. Open the Firefox browser.
  2. Click the books iconImage Modifiedon the top right of the browser window.
  3. Click Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks
  4. Click on the Star button Image Modified and select Import Bookmarks from HTML...
  5. Click on Desktop on the left side of the pop-up window.
  6. Locate the Firefox Bookmarks.html file and click the Open button.


Chrome
  1. Open the Chrome browser.
  2. Click the menu button Image Modifiedon the top right of the browser window.
  3. Click Bookmarks > Import Bookmarks and Settings...
  4. Select Bookmarks HTML File from the dropdown on the pop-up menu and click the Choose File button.
  5. Click on Desktop on the left side of the pop-up window.
  6. Locate the Chrome Bookmarks.html file and click the Open button.
