Introduction

This page explains the steps for installing Cisco AnyConnect on a Mac. (Click here for Windows installation.)

AnyConnect is software that allows authorized users to connect their computers to Biola's VPN service.

Important! Before installing AnyConnect, you must have an active VPN account.


How to Install and Configure Cisco AnyConnect on a Mac

1Go to vpn.biola.edu on your Mac. Sign in with your NetID and password.

2Follow the directions for installing an application using Self-Service. In this case you will choose the AnyConnect client to install.Agree to the terms of service.
3Click on Download for macOS and follow the on-screen instructions to install the application.


4Open the Cisco AnyConnect app from your Applications folder.

Type in the server address: vpn.biola.edu and click connect.

56Type in your NetID and password and click OK.

67Click Accept to agree to the terms of service.

78AnyConnect may run updates. Once the updates complete you can begin using Cisco AnyConnect.
