Step 1: Confirm Funds in Your Account

Step 2: Install Biola's Print Software

Download the Pharos Installer: Pharos Installer Link.

Open the Pharos_Student.dmg on your desktop.

Run the Popup.pkg installer file.

Click Continue to progress through the installer. Enter your computer password when prompted.

If prompted, download and install the appropriate drivers from Apple's website.

If prompted about allowing an unknown publisher to make changes, select Yes.

When Pharos is done installing, click Finish to close the installer program.

Step 3: Print Your Document

    • Print Release Station: Biola Student Printers
    • Copier: Biola_Student_Copiers

Sign into the Pharos Print Popup with your NetID and password.

Enter your NetID, and a name for the print job.

Note: Make sure not to confuse the

4Click Continue.
5Enter your NetID password.
6Click Print.

Step 4: Retrieve Your Printout

Slide/tap your Biola ID card on the copier.

Note: If you don't have your ID card, you can type your NetID and password.

Select OK, then select OK again.

Press the Copy button below the screen to choose the function you'd like to do.

4Place your document on the glass, or in the top feeder for multiple pages.
5Enter the number of copies on the number pad.
6Press the green Start button.

Click the Access button twice on the control panel to log out.

Note: If you forget this step, it will automatically log out after two minutes.

How to do it

1

Slide/tap your Biola ID card on the copier.

Note: If you don't have your ID card, you can type your NetID and password.

Select OK, then select OK again.

Press the Fax/Scan button below the screen.

Note: This opens the Address Book.

Select the Email Me button to send the scan to your email account.

5Select your personal share point button to scan to your share point folder. (Example: "PC (SMB) FirstName")
6Place your document on the glass, or in the top feeder for multiple pages.

Press the green Start button.

Gmail file size limit is 25MB (about 25 pages BW, 10 pages Color).

You will not see a confirmation message. Check your email account to confirm.

Click the Access button twice on the control panel to log out.

How to Scan Your Document

1Open Image Capture from Macintosh HD/Applications/.
2Select Show Details in the bottom right corner of the window.
3Select a desired Scan to location.
4Name the file.
5Fill out all desired scan preferences.
