How to Prevent Zoombombing
As a meeting host, you should enable the following settings to secure your meeting:
Require meeting password | Enabling this will prevent anyone without the password from using a meeting ID to join the meeting. People who click on the link in your meeting invitation don't need to enter the password. |
---|---|
Enable waiting room | This option allows you to manually admit each person one by one. If you have a small group of attendees, this is another easy way to protect your meeting from intruders. You should not do this for classes. |
Only authenticated users can join | This requires all attendees to be logged in to Zoom with their username and password, making it difficult for anonymous users to join your meeting. |
Lock meeting | Once your participants have all joined the meeting you can lock the meeting, so no one else can join.
You can follow the same steps to unlock your meeting if necessary. |
