Introduction
This page explains how to allow guests to join a Zoom meeting protected by authentication.
Please Note: These instructions must be done before the meeting starts.
Step | What to do | How it looks |
---|---|---|
1 | Go to https://biola.zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming. | |
2 | Click on the meeting you would like to rename breakout rooms in. | |
3 | Click Edit. Note: If you are asked if you would like to edit just this one meeting or all occurrences, you must click the option to edit all occurrences or else it will not save. | |
4 | Click Add or Edit next to the Authentication Exception setting. | |
5 | Click + Add Participant. | |
6 | Type in the guest's Full name and email address. | |
7 | Click Save to save the authentication exception. | |
8 | Click Save at the bottom of the page to save the changes you've made to the meeting. | |
9 | Guests will receive a default message from Zoom automatically. This, unfortunately, cannot be prevented. Note: The contact name and email will be the meeting host's name and email. |
