Introduction

These instructions will help you back up your computer's data to Biola's CrashPlan Cloud service.


Back-up Your Computer Using CrashPlan

Windows: Click on    in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Mac: Click on the    in the top right corner of the screen.


2Type Code42.

Select Code42 from the search results.

Log in to the application using your Biola email address and NetID password.

Note: The application may automatically log you in.

Click on Run backup now to initiate a backup.

Depending on size of files and the speed of your connection, your CrashPlan back up may take a while to complete a "Synchronizing" process.

Note: If your computer says, "Synchronizing," please leave your computer on overnight and connected to the internet (using a wired ethernet connection, if possible) if you are off-campus. If it does not complete and confirm a recent back up date after 3 days, please contact the IT Helpdesk for assistance.


9After your computer has finished backing up for the first time, you can quickly check if your computer is backing up on CrashPlan Cloud.
