Introduction

Adobe has changed how their Creative Cloud software is licensed in computer labs in 2019. Here's what you need to know when using the software at Biola.

Changes

To use Adobe Creative Cloud in any Biola computer lab, you must now sign-in to the Adobe software.

You have three options when signing in:

  1. Use an Adobe ID that you already have.
  2. Create a new Adobe ID.
  3. Create an Adobe ID using your existing Facebook or Google account.

Using Creative Cloud in the Labs

After logging-in to the computer, open any Adobe Creative Cloud program from the Dock or the Applications folder.

When the program opens, you will be presented with a login screen:

  1. If you already have an Adobe ID that you created on your own in the past, you can sign-in using the email address and password fields.

  2. If you don't have an Adobe ID and would like to create one, click on the "Get an Adobe ID" link. It will open a web browser and walk you through creating an ID.

  3. If you'd like to use your Facebook or Goolge account (including your Biola Gmail account), you can click the appropriate button. It will open a web browser and walk you through signing-in with either method.
    1. This is the fastest way to get started using Creative Cloud, as you can use an account you already know, and you don't have to remember an extra password.

Getting Help

If you need help logging-in to Creative Cloud, please talk to the Tech Commons assistant in the middle level of the Library, or contact the IT Helpdesk.
