Adobe has granted free temporary access to Creative Cloud for higher education students until the end of May. Follow the instructions below to request access to Adobe Creative Cloud, sign in to Adobe, and install the Adobe Creative Cloud App on your personal computer.

Step 1: Request Adobe Creative Cloud Access from Biola IT
StepWhat to do
1Please fill out this form to request access to Adobe Creative Cloud. After your submission is processed you will receive an email from Adobe.
2Biola IT will activate your account within 24 hours and email you directions on how to sign in and download the software.

Important Note:

If you already have a paid subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud with your Biola email address, you will have to manually cancel your subscription before you can take advantage of this free, three-month license. Make sure to sign out of all Adobe CC applications until you have activated the free license.

Step 2: Activate Your Adobe Creative Cloud Account
StepWhat to doHow to do it
1In the email, click on the blue Get Started button.
2This will take you to an Adobe login page. If you’ve previously created an Adobe ID with your Biola email address, sign in with that account.

Important Note:

If you have not yet created an Adobe ID, click on the Get an Adobe ID link and create a Personal account using your Biola email address. Do not select the Want to use your company or school account option.

The free software is tied to your Biola email address, so as soon as you sign in, it should automatically activate the free license.

Step 3: Download the Creative Cloud App
StepWhat to do
1Once your account has been activated by IT and you've signed in to the Adobe website, click on the grid icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen and then click Creative Cloud.

2In the new page that opens, under the Quick Links section, click on Install Creative Cloud App.
3Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the Creative Cloud App on your computer.
4Once the Creative Cloud App has finished installing, you can open the app and see a selection of Creative Cloud applications. Click the Install button next to any application you would like to use.

Note:

If you do not see the Creative Cloud window, click on the Creative Cloud icon in the menu bar (on a Mac) or in the system tray (on Windows). The icon looks like the one on the right. You may also have to sign into the Creative Cloud application with your Adobe ID, if it asks you to.
