Introduction

This page explains how to use Gmail delegation once a user has accepted it for another account.

Gmail delegation gives users limited access to a department email account to read and send emails from it. The account stays secure as delegation does not share the password, and account owners can revoke a user's access at any time.

Please Note:

  • It may take up to 30 minutes after accepting delegation for it to show up in your account.
  • Once you have accepted Gmail delegation, you must access the delegated account from your personal Biola email in a web-browser. The Gmail delegation function is incompatible with mobile devices.
