How to Reclaim Host Rights in a Zoom Meeting

This page shows how to reclaim host rights of a Zoom meeting you own when another user or a Zoom Classroom is listed as the primary host.

Step	What to do	What it looks like
1	Join your course's Zoom Meeting* on your laptop/desktop computer.
2	Click the Participants menu option.
3	Click the More option at the bottom of the pop-up window.
4	Click Reclaim Host.
5	Hover your mouse over the Zoom Classroom name on the participant list and click the More option that appears.
6	Click Make co-Host

1	Join your course's Zoom Meeting* on your laptop/desktop computer.
2	Touch Manage Participants on the Zoom touch panel.
3	Touch your name on the participant list.
4	Touch the Make Host option.
5	Confirm that you would like to transfer host rights.
6	Hover your mouse over the Zoom Classroom name on the participant list and click the More option that appears.
7	Click Make co-Host
8	Confirm that you would like to assign the classroom co-host rights.
