Aqueduct Work

This was "Work among the 4000 men on the new aqueduct."The King's Business Vol. 1.1, Jan 1910, Pg. 1 [ It took place in the town of Mojave. Thomas Hannay, Jr.] was the representative, whom the men referred to as "Sky Pilot."The King's Business Vol.1.4, April 1910, pg. 62 [ The King's Business] of April reported "Sunday, Mark 13, marked an epoch in the little town. A snug little building that will seat about 150 people was dedicated that night by prayer and set apart for the preaching of the Gospel."The King's Business Vol. 1.4, April 1910, pg. 62 [ This was the first evangelical church building ever in Mojave.

This picture of the sunday school in Mojave appeared in The King's Business] in August 1910. The caption states, "The Sky Piolot Sunday School at Mojave _sic_ Every Boy and Girl in the Town Excepting three" The King's Business Vol1.8, August 1910, pg 113 [

The last report in The King's Business] regarding this work is in the June 1911 issue in Mojave Union Church Article. This article reports that Mojave had become a "law abiding an safe town," and also that the church building of Mojave Union Church was saved from fire on May 9, 1911. The King's Business, Vol. 2.6, June 1911, pg 130, [Mojave Union Church Article,] The August-September issue of the magazine reports, "Mr. Tom Hannay is making a flying trip to his home in Scotland.
