Introduction

This page explains how to allow guests to join a Zoom meeting protected by authentication. If a participant attempts to join an authentication-protected meeting and does not meet the authentication requirements, they will not be allowed into the meeting.

Please Note: These instructions must be done before the meeting starts.

1Go to https://biola.zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming.


2Click on the meeting you would like to invite a guest into.

Click Edit.

Note: If you are asked if you would like to edit just this one meeting or all occurrences, you must click the option to edit all occurrences or else it will not save.

4Click Add or Edit next to the Authentication Exception setting.

5Click +  Add Participant.

6Type in the guest's Full name and email address.

7Click Save to save the authentication exception.

Click Save at the bottom of the page to save the changes you've made to the meeting.

Note:

  • Once you save the meeting an email (listed to the right) will be automatically sent to your guests from Zoom. This, unfortunately, cannot be prevented and cannot be edited.
  • The contact name and email will be the meeting host's name and email.
