"Intrusted with the Gospel"

There's a world that is sin-sick and blinded and lost;

There's a Savior who bought it at infinite cost;

There's a message He sends that will heal all their woe;

'Tis intrusted (sic) to us, so arise, let us go.

Put in trust with the Gospel, sweet story of old,

'Tis a privilege priceless; more precious than gold.

What a joy to go forth o'er the land or the sea

To give sight to the blind and set prisoners free.

Soon our Lord will return and we'll see Him at last,

Lo, the time of our stewardship then will be past.

But the question He'll ask us is, "What did you do

With the message of life I intrusted (sic) to you?"

Chorus:

Though the angels sing anthems of glory above,

We are bearing glad tidings of Christ and His love.

Yes, we speak of a Savior who rose from the grave;

Put in trust with the Gospel, God's power to save.
