Introduction

These instructions show how to rename your Zoom breakout rooms. Hosts may wish to do this when specific breakout rooms are meant to serve a specific purpose.

Example Use Cases:

  • There are guest lecturers in specific breakout rooms and the meeting host would like participants to be able to choose which breakout room they would like to join.
  • A meeting host would like participants to join multiple breakout rooms during the meeting and wants them to be able to self-identify where they belong. For example:
    • Round 1: Tenor/Alto
    • Round 1: Soprano/Bass
    • Round 2: Tenor/Bass
    • Round 2: Alto/Soprano
