A Bible translation missions organization founded in 1942 by William Townsend, a.k.a. Uncle Cam.

Wycliffe Bible Translators began as "Camp Wycliffe," a linguistics training school, in 1934. By 1942, it had evolved into two separate organizations: Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Summer Institute of Linguistics.http://www.wycliffe.org/Explore/WhoWeAre/History.aspx
