Recover Your NetID

Step	What to Do
1	Go to loginmyaccount.biola.edu.
2	Click on Forgot your NetID or password?
3	Type in your personal email address (non-Biola email) and click the Go >> button. Note: If  If the system doesn't recognize the email address you entered, please click the I need help! button and contact the department listed under the appropriate group in the pop-up windowcontact one of the following Biola departments and let them know you'd like to recover your NetID but your non-Biola email address is not recognized. Incoming/Readmit Students Faculty / Staff Alumni Please call Admissions at 1-800-652-4652 and ask to speak to Admissions Operations or email admissions.operations@biola.edu. Please contact Human Resources at either human.resources@biola.edu, or (562)903-4757. Please contact Alumni Relations at either alumni.relations@biola.edu, or (562)903-4728.
4	Log in to your personal email address and open the password reset link email we sent to you labelled labeled Reset your Biola University account password.
5	Your NetID will be listed towards at the top of the email.

What to Do If It Doesn't Work

If the procedure above doesn't work, follow the instructions below.

Come to the IT Helpdesk in lower Metzger. Bring your picture ID card.

If you can't come to the IT Helpdesk, call the Registrar at (562) 903-4720.

Tell them the following:

1. You have already tried the instructions given by IT.
2. You need the Registrar to add a personal email address to your account in Biola's system.

Once you have a personal email address in the system, start over at "How to Find Your NetID or Password" above.

Call Alumni Relations at (562) 903-4728 or send an email to alumni.biola.edu.

Tell them the following:

1. You have already tried the instructions given by IT.
2. You are having trouble logging in to Biola's system to look at your account information.

Alumni Relations staff will work with IT to put your personal email address into the system. IT will send a password reset link to your personal email address.

In some cases, a student will leave the university before completing the minimum number of required units to achieve Alumni status.

Then, in the future, the student will return to the university. They will have a NetID, but Biola's system will not allow them to do anything with it.
