Common Grounds is the name of Biola's on-campus cafe, located in the lower level of the Student Union Building. It is also called "Commons" and is run by Bon Appetit.

The cafe went under renovation July 5, 2000, which cost about $50,000."Common Grounds Opens Sept. 1." The Chimes, August 24, 2000. Page 3 The Chimes article says the cafe was known for its "grunge" look, but during the renovation, it added new lighting and furniture.

Before and after the renovation, Common Grounds displayed student artwork, some of which was for sale.

The one piece of permanent artwork added to the cafe during the remodel is a stained glass window with an eagle and Isaiah 40:31 written above it, which is mounted on a wall in the middle of the cafe.
