Student Union Building
The Student Union Building (SUB) is a multipurpose building in the center of the campus. It opened its doors to students in 1967 after two years of research, planning, and fundraising by a student committee. It was known for a number of years as the CUB or College Union Building.
The SUB houses offices for the Associated Students, Student Missionary Union, The Biolan, The Chimes, the commuter Collegium, the department of Spiritual Life and Multi-Ethnic Programs. On the lower level are Common Grounds cafe, the Eagles' Nest restaurant and mail services.
A remodel took place in 2007, which involved repainting and refurnishing the building. Part of the upper SUB was converted into the Mosaic Cultural Center, a glass-enclosed room to house offices for Multi-Ethnic Programs.
