A group of nine Biola students went on a mission trip to Swaziland in summer 1993 to assist local churches in "establishing evangelical congregations equipped for witnessing." The Biolan, 1994
Sikhanyiso Dlamani ("Pashu"), a Swazi princess, enrolled in Biola in fall 2005.
