The Biola Symphonic Wind Ensemble, formerly the Biola College Band, is a fifty-member wind ensemble run by the Biola University Conservatory of Music. The band is formed by students, and performs concerts each semester. In addition to the regular Fall and Spring Concerts, the concert schedule includes the Prism, Christmas, and Pops concerts. The band also plays at graduation ceremonies. Both music majors and students from other departments are encouraged to participate.
In addition to playing on Biola's campus, the band tours each year, and also hosts the Biola Invitational High School Band Festival, where twelve high school bands combine to form a 500-piece massed band.
