Torrey Theater Club is an amateur club started and led entirely by Torrey students who believe that theater uniquely contributes to education. Averaging two productions per year (spring & fall), the club provides numerous opportunities for actors and artists to experience the joys and labors of putting on a play. Participants can receive paper credit with mentor approval. It is currently directed by Katherine Zilka.

Trivia
- According to urban legend, the club is "obliged by its charter" to perform one Shakespeare play per year, when in reality there is no such charter or obligation. This error was even found on the club's website, until it was corrected by Katherine Zilka in April 2009.
