How to Change a Computer's Audio Output Settings

On a Mac

1Confirm the correct audio settings are selected in the computer's System Preferences.
  1. Click on the Apple icon on the top left of the computer and select System Preferences...

  2. Click on Sound.

  3. Click the Output tab and select your desired audio output.



On a PC

1Confirm the correct audio settings are selected in the computer's Sound Playback Options.
  1. Click on the Windows icon in the bottom left-hand corner, or the Windows Key on your keyboard.

  2. Type in "Sound Playback Options" and hit enter.

  3. Select your desired Audio Output Device from the drop down menu .
