This page shows how to know if your computer's Zoom software version can be updated and how to do it if needed.
How to Update a Computer's Zoom Software Version
| Step | What to do | How it looks |

| 1 | Open your Zoom software on your computer. | |
| 2 | Click on your profile picture or square with your initials at the top right of the Zoom software home page. | |
| 3 | Click Check for Updates. | |
| 4 | If an update is available for your software, a pop-up window will appear saying a new update is available. |

| 5 | Click Update. | |
| 6 | Click Install to install the Zoom update. |

| 7 | Follow the on-screen instructions on your computer to finish installing the software update. | |
| 8 | Once the update has finished installing, you may need to quit and reopen Zoom. |
