Timecard 101 for Student Employees
This walkthrough will cover:
Azure SSO Access
You will need your Biola email address and password to access your Biola timecard.
Mobile-friendly design
The new timecard is mobile-friendly and can be used from your smartphone or tablet.
Using the browser on your smartphone or tablet, go to timecard.biola.edu.
Record your time as you work
The new timecard is designed to make it easy to clock in and out as you work.
Click the blue "In" button to record when you start working. Notice how the "In" button will automatically change to an "Out" button.
Click the "Out" button to record when you stop working.
Use the "+" and "-" buttons if you need to modify the time in the "In" and "Out" buttons.
Multiple on-campus jobs, one timecard
Record your time for multiple on-campus jobs using a single timecard. Just make sure you choose the correct position when clocking in and out.
Note: You must clock out before clocking in with a different position.
View your daily subtotals
Each subtotal type will display in a different color.
Legend
- Green = Regular time
- Orange = Overtime
- Red = Doubletime
- Blue = Break penalty
Break Penalties
If you choose to waive your required meal break, click the red button.
Do nothing when receiving the break penalty.
Communicating with your supervisor
Click the comment button to add a day comment for your supervisor.
Turning in your timecard
Click the "Submit Timecard" button to review your timecard subtotals.
Review your hours for each position you work.
If everything looks good, then check the box. That is your electronic signature. Then hit the final blue button to submit your timecard and you are done.
