Gordon Hooker
Gordon Hooker, D.S.M was a professor of music at Biola University and a 1922 Biola graduate. He first joined the Biola staff in 1926 in the Radio Department and later became one of the music faculty as well as music staff for the Church of the Open Door. He taught gospel song writing, music theory, and piano, and played for the church services. He was married to Martha Hooker, a professor of Christian education. He is remembered most for the playing of Biola's Chimes, a ministry that he performed for 37 years.
