Jon Campbell

Jon Campbell (1949-2005) was a Biola graduate who served as head of the school's Human Resources Department before becoming the president of Ambassador Advertising Agency, a radio distribution company that began with The Biola Hour.

Background

After joining Ambassador in 1972, Jon served as executive vice president before being appointed president in 1989. He was a member of the board of the Western Chapter of National Religious Broadcasters beginning in 1978 and served as president from 1987 to 1989. In 1996 he was elected to the
executive committee of the national organization and has served on
that body’s board of directors as well as other key leadership roles.

In June 2004 he joined the board of trustees for Azusa Pacific University.

Jon and his wife Peggy were married almost 35 years.

Scholarship funds have been established in Jon’s name at Azusa
Pacific University and Biola University.
