J. M. Irvine
Joseph M. Irvine was president of the board of directors for several years. He taught a class for over 50 years at Immanuel Presbyterian Church which came to be known as the Irvine Bible Class.
In April 1910, Mr. Irvine was also chairman of the committee and gave the final address to a series of Young People's Meetings held by The Fishermen's Club and the Lyceum Club.The King's Business, Vol. 1.4, April 1910, pg 64, http://www2.biola.edu/kingsbusiness/view/3/1/24
Under Irvine's ministry, World War I Navy veteran Hugh R. Murchison was saved; Murchison would go on to become superintendent and president of the Union Rescue Mission.
