Herbert G. Tovey

Herbert Tovey Mus. D., D.D. (1888-1972) was a music instructor at Biola of Harmony, Conducting, Women's Glee Club, and Voice beginning around the 1920's. In 1928, he was the Director of the Music Department. He was from Melbourne, Australia and graduated from Moody Bible Institute. Besides being a music instructor, songwriter, and author, Tovey was also well-known as an evangelistic song leader (King's Business, Jan 1920, pg 32).
